NYCHA - A Cut Above
The Program
The NYCHA “Cut Above” Incentive Program aims to boost funds
for youth programs and activities from year to year. The
program stipulates youth area directors and members to
contact contributors each year about making a onetime annual
donation during the month of October. Each area director
will confirm a minimum of 10 donors and will initially
receive 10 call/donation agreement forms to fill out and
return to the NCHA Youth
Dept. Area directors are also highly encouraged to enlist
other members in their area to help with the program. The
goal is for each youth area director to get at least 10
donations (see contribution levels below), and each area to
collect a total of $2,000. Additional call/donation forms
are by contacting NCHA Youth Coordinator Dayna Smith at the
NCHA office at 817-244-6188.
Contribution Levels
Support of the “Cut Above” Program is a
one-time annual gift in the following
increments: |
> Backer $25 - $249
> Friend $250 - $499
> Booster $500 - $749
> Endorser $750 - $999
> Promoter $1,000
> Investor $5,000
> All-Star $10,000 |

Program Incentive and Awards
As a self-sufficient association, the real incentive to
NYCHA members is the continued success of youth programs
and activities each year. However, the area that brings
in the most money for the “Cut Above” Program will
receive a $2,000 Scholarship to be held at the NCHA
office until requested. A certificate will be mailed.
The money awarded can go toward an area or regional
scholarship cutting the winners designate for any date
in the future. In addition to the area scholarship, the
area director or youth member that brings in the largest
sum of money in donations will receive a NCHA/NYCHA
goodie gift bag that includes various NCHA items, two
DVDs, and splint boots from Pro Equine Products.
